Marquess Tavern
The Marquess, which we owned from 2006-2008, was our vision of a perfect English pub – real ales, real fires
and great seasonal English food. The pub is tied to Young’s Brewers, so as a business it was a different challenge
for us but within 6 months we’d more than quadrupled turnover and won Time Out Gastropub of the Year.
