Huw lives and breathes food and drink. From humble beginnings as a kitchen porter he now consistently produces
a diverse
range of concepts that have proved popular with both press and, more importantly, with the
various consumer
groups they have targeted.
These concepts have included restaurants, gastropubs, hotel dining, bars, cafes and event catering, and have
ranged from
'eccentric English' to 'authentic Mexican'. Huw's venues have won numerous awards, not least
Time Out Gastropub of the Year,
Best Roast Beef in the UK (Restaurant Magazine), Best Sunday Lunch in the
UK (Observer Food monthly), Best Steak
